He lost by a ton of votes in 2020.

Only once in the history of this country has someone served a term, lost and then become President again. Once.

I see huge problems with Trump's speech in terms of him repeating that he wants essentially to "drain the swamp" in DC...but he didn't bother the first time when he promised that. There are many similar instances of him citing things he will do that he clearly couldn't get done the first time when he had FOUR YEARS to do them.

He's never gone away. Presidents lose and they go away and the absence rehabilitates their image. Best recent example is George W. Bush. Towards the end of his second term someone threw a shoe at him during a press conference and there wasn't a great outrage in America about it. People were ****ed about the war and were tired of his policies (or failed policies). But he went away. And now you see him and much of that anger has gone away. That's partly because Bush never was a bad person even though he was not a good President.

Trump, on the other hand, is a terrible human being and has never gone away long enough to change anyone's mind about that. He's been in the news every day since 2015.

I watched part of that speech last night and thought, who can put up with this brand of BS for SIX YEARS (two more until the election and if he wins another four years)? It's so worn out and tiring.

He lost the last election by 7 million votes. The electoral county by the same margin that he beat Clinton in 2016 which he himself called a blowout.

WHERE IS HE GOING TO GET THE ADDITIONAL VOTES? Because he's not going to need just 7 million and 1 more. He's going to need probably double that. So many people just want him to go AWAY.

Also, if old Presidents is a bad thing, how come it's not with Donnie? He's 76. He'll be 78 when he becomes President and 82 at the end of his term (or about that). How is that okay?
