but it's historical fact that Trump didn't resolve COVID during his term (despite saying he would) and Biden has (with two years left).

Those are facts. Another fact is analysis of the 2020 election revealed that many voters did not like Trump's handling of COVID at all and thought his inaction on it was unforgivable, especially since the delayed response was believed to have resulted in more cases, leading to more deaths. As was described, essentially Trump decided that doing nothing was politically expedient even though it was not for the citizens of the country.

But hey, he's your President. We know you'd vote for him for life if given the chance.
