College basketball is pretty unpredictable these days

With so much roster turn over yearly for the middle programs, to blue chip turnover with the blue bloods. There doesn’t seem to be many cohesive programs anymore outside of maybe a dozen schools. the combination of that and the overall ability of athletes nowadays (even the “small school” lower level guys are very skilled) it’s a crap shoot.

I know people concentrate around here about a umkc loss or this or that being “historic” but it happens all the time now at almost every school. Not sure what it means for the overall game though. It’s nice not having 111-48 games all November and December around the country, but also you’d like the overall play from the top 50-75 teams to be about a 20% better product.
