with all of his dealings with the Clinton, and business dealings over the years. He knew how DC worked, and he put it to work for him from day 1. Did he ruffle feathers while he put his own twist on it...yes he did. But he knew how to work it. He went from saying the fed needed higher rates under Obama, to basically threatening to fire the Fed Chair (not re-nominating him) if he did not lower rates as the stock market started to fall.
