Defense was on the ropes all day. Baker’s aggressive scheme was always going to be an issue on any play the rush didn’t get home. They simply have too many great receivers running all over the field and a heisman QB throwing it to them. The second they got Cook’s running under control, which frankly, was the only think keeping us in the game, the avalanche came down.
It was very Auburn in 2013 like. They pretty much did what they wanted when they wanted to do it. And the more they do it, the faster they go and the more overwhelmed the defense gets. Especially after big plays. Add in some untimely mistakes and the offense shutting down after scoring 24 and the flood gates open.
