I'll say it again, if the GOP is gonna break up with Trump..

and I think by now it should be clear to most people on th right that has to happen, it's not gonna be pretty.

As someone yesterday noted, sure you have elections for that, but Trump not only enjoys slinging **** at people that he deems have crossed him, even for the slightest thing, he will make it his mission to do so.

A Trump that has been sidelined is going to be a picture of volatility "the likes of which we've never seen."

Now, come election time, people on the red team will dutifully vote for the red guy, people on the blue team will vote for the blue guy, but whoever is the primary winner on the right better be extremely clean in terms of background, better not try to imitate Trump (too much) and better know policy.

Because people are generally tired of Trump, and that includes a lot of independents. So if you're going to give them New Trump, you're not going to make up a lot of votes that were lost in 2020.

And Trump is going to be throwing bombs until the day he dies. Embarrassingly.
