He emerged from NY where he was long considered a joke and eviscerated GOP competitors to eventually remake a major political party. Again, that you might think (note I say that you might think, not that you do think) that the GOP can easily get him off the national stage is naive. And Trump will begin his run NOW. Will it serve DeSantis weeks or months after being re-elected to the office of governor to abandon that office with a national run? Serious question. -- And you I detest the character of Donald Trump, but he is a formidable candidate.
