It's a terrible bill that will pass

I would be absolutely shocked if this doesn't pass. The GA had a very good simple bill before them this last session that would have legalized it and stopped all the amendment processes in their tracks. They failed to do anything. They've failed the past 3 sessions actually. And Parson was a fool for not making them address it in the special session.

Now, we're going to have to deal with this bad amendment for years. Actually, I can see the "CRT provision" probably doesn't pass constitutional muster as it violates other parts of the constitution. The courts are going to have to work that out.

If the GA had passed an MJ bill, they could have been in complete control of everything related to MJ legalization. Even if they had passed a less than perfect bill, they could have easily corrected it. Now they will have very little control of anything related to MJ legislation. This is 100% on the feckless GA.
