First and foremost Kobe is still the man. Banging inside had some put backs and got fouled. He only tried 2 threes didn't make neither.
Starting lineup was Gholston Hodge Honor Carter Kobe. I was surprised he did not start Moseley. First subs in was Gomillion Mosley East. Later in the first half he put in Kaleb B. Then at the 7 min mark he put in Shaw. He even played Majak some all I can say is he's better than the giant we had last year, but that is not saying much.
Game was Sloppy starting out they even had a one point led around the 10:00 min. mark. The main reason is we had guy's over playing on defense it got better as the night went on. We had a 13 pt. led at half.
When the second half started you could tell DG hammered them on the D. Honer stoled the ball a few times at center court. I only seen them go zone once they made a bucket from the corner and that was the end of that. It looks like were going to press after every made ball and some dead balls. Thats what they did last night anyway.
On Offense Mosley and East both did some fine work inside. Mosley tried 3 3's and made one. East tired a couple and didn't make any. To many 3's shot in the first half thought when we had the advantage inside. Shaw did not score till the last 2 min. They set a ali-oop up for him out of a time out, and he slammed it home. That guy can jump out of the gym, but you can tell he's a Freshman he has a long way to go. I don't know what's up with this, but he did not play Degray at all.
Hodge was 3 for 4 from three the second half.
And finally the side line was silent. No coach yelling his head off quite refreshing I thought. GO TIGERS!!!
