The surface drones were British. One of the nine launched malfunctioned and washed up on the Crimea beach. The Russians captured it intact. An American control drone was orbiting over the Black Sea during the attack. The Russians suspect it was controlling and monitoring the attack drones. The Ukraine military has no such capability. I suspect the Brits are in for some major payback after the Nord Stream pipeline sabotage, the Kerch Bridge truck bomb and now this Sevastopol Naval Yard attack. You can't attack another nation's capitol shipping, and industrial and commercial infrastructure without consequence.
