not sure what you even would define as a surprise. all I know is both sides will claim some sort of victory, and also claim some sort of fraud, and think they have a "mandate" to push forth their agenda. Nothing will change as a result of this election.

The last election that truly led to change was 1994, because Clinton was so in desire or power, he was willing to adopt some of Newt's plan to get re-elected. Even that really did not lead to much true change.

It seems every cycle is more and more about how bad the other guy is...and now we have more candidates, that most people actually see as bad candidates but feel compelled to vote for one of them.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
