It makes no sense for a nation to risk war with your customers over an island. Especially since the only way to defeat Taiwan would be to destroy its infrastructure, losing those valuable assets. 0&y

Without direct US intervention, Taiwan would be very difficult for China to take. With US intervention, there is major risk they would lose.

None of this would be happening if Trump were re-elected.
