We've gone from realizing this to trying to prevent them with massive spending and giving handouts largely to corporate interests. Stop this immediately and going forward.

Cut federal spending across the board and require a balanced budget like with states. This includes defense welfare (the golden goose for GOP).

Keep the fed out of bond market purchases. They distort the entire market and cause excessive risk taking and profiteering by keeping rates artificially low.

Those are to start.
