My point is boomers "remember" a free society. But, they've done pretty much nothing to preserve it. They got fat and happy while things circled the drain for decades. "Conservatives" never held their even their own party in check for out of control govt spending. "Conservatives" did nothing while the climate change narrative ramped up. "Conservatives" did nothing to protect the school curriculum which is now completely out of control. And, last, "Conservatives" cheered after 9/11 when the governement stripped the American peoples rights via the Patriot Act. All of the above have went unchecked for decades while "conservative" boomers have done nothing but watch and nod their heads in approval.
