1. A coherent, responsible family is a great idea. But it ignores reality. Many families are divided physically, and the remaining adult is increasingly an irresponsible, harmful parent. The children are and will be a mess. The only entity left to take care of the children IS THE STATE.
2. Rothbard so conveniently ignores completely mental illness, as if it doesn't happen. The results from that illness are massive and growing. Give his/your solution to that very big problem.
