Couples in commercials, oh my

Years back some poster here whined about how couples in commercials seemed to be all minorities "these days". I have noted a pretty significant number of bi-racial couples, minority couples and gay couples in ads today.
Welcome to America, I guess. I don't see it as a problem but surely some here do.
