mainly on the grounds that 3 in 10 defendants are later exonerated.

But evidently those opposed to the death penalty are excluded from proceedings such as Parkland.

Which is why it is completely not understandable why 3 people would have let him off on "mitigating circumstances".

That is complete BS you charge someone of 1st degree murder you are charging him with being a mentally ill psychopath, no matter what poor circumstances he was brought up under (unless he is pleading insanity -which he is anyway)
