campaign ad on TV accusing Eric Schmitt of favoring Chinese ownership of Missouri farmland. I've never heard of her. The woman talks with a St. Louis accent and no party affiliation is mentioned in her ad. I am going out on a limb and assume this Karen is a rich St. Louis liberal, maybe even a fascist prog lefty. Missouri democrat candidates try to fool the voting public into believing they are normals and abhor identifying themselves as democrats. If memory serves, Schmitt is a Pub. The ad is misleading. I recall a bill that passed out of the Missouri Leg and vetoed by Gov. Nixon allowed foreign ownership of farmland. As a farmer and Missouri landowner I am opposed to any law that limits participation of qualified buyers for valuable assets, like farmland. If dems like this Karen want to stop foreign ownership, maybe we should also prevent foreigners from owning other real and personal property, as well as investments in businesses, corporate stocks and government bonds? That way we can all share in the experience of a limited buyers market.
