This would actually be a great time for him to reflect.
Was his decision an easy one or a difficult one? What would have happened if the baby went to term? What are the consequences of the abortion, if any? Does he now consider himself to be an accessory to murder?
To what extent should that decision be dictated by government?
For me personally, I have never been involved in such a potential decision, but I am damn sure that decision should be made between the man and woman, and their families and doctors. I also do not know of anyone that went through that decision (at least knowingly).
