major hurricanes that hit in the same area, not major hurricanes that were the same size and exactly the same characteristics as Ian.

Charley came in faster and did not stick around as long. Hence, less flooding.

Also, massive flooding can come from lower category storms. Ask people in Houston about Cat 1 Harvey.

You should probably stay in your lane on this one.
