hearts and minds. If he can see into mankind's hearts and minds, then he should be able to see who are good people, and let them into heaven.

Why would God, even though he can tell who are the good people, set a requirement that you have to worship Jeebus Christ to get into heaven, even if you are a good person (and he knows this).
