Meavis has mentioned in interviews his ability to block out everything before a kick - what if he used that power now on every negative thought coming his way and focused exclusively on kicking?
He also might want to consider this question: What's RIGHT about missing field goals? You heard me - there are answers to that question and some of them are astounding.
What if our best running back spent some time drilling diving for the pylon at full speed with both hands extended with another player closing at full speed until that skill became second nature?
And then, modified the drill to SWITCH HANDS in the last second, extending while going out of bounds with another player closing at full speed until THAT was second nature?
There our different ways of turning the page, sometimes working through a traumatic event until the skill necessary to handle that event develops can turn the page for you.
The best defense in the country is going to penetrate and even dominate parts of the play on almost every play.
What if the offense focused on executing perfectly on just that part of the play necessary to advance the ball?
another way to put it: What version of this offense always manages to advance the ball, even with the defense constantly getting into the backfield?
