I think one of the reasons I like the B12 is the presence (or possible presence) of colleges in pro sports markets. MU is basically that kind of school with StL and KC. South was or is largely a minor league region that grew up with State U as their team. Simply not the case at Mizzou.

Big 10 is a better fit for similar reasons too. But I think that shipped sailed.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
