years ago it was purely for the free delivery for our Christmas gifts. We started using it enough that keeping the subscription made sense.

I think we had the service for over a year before I ever loaded the tv app. But in the last couple of years their TV content has been worth the price of their subscription.

I suspect adding the NFL added some subscribers who were not interested in free shipping or the LOTR series. It will be interesting to see if they add to their shorts offerings now.
