Makes sense to me. I thought he would be a better game coach, but he doesn't seem to be. That has to get better and having an OC next year would be good. He is the CEO and needs to get out of the weeds. Leave the tactics to the OC and DC and focus solely on strategy and helping players be their best and give their best effort.
Effort seemed to be lacking at times Saturday, but I am not on the sideline or in the locker room.
Bottom line is we are pretty much what I thought we would be. Maybe we will get better during the season. Hope so anyway.
