with conferences at 16 members, it takes a national brand that *really* moves the needle to justify expansion.

No more Rutgers or even Nebraska's... again, the Big Ten is mulling over whether to take *Oregon* at this point.

If they were at 12 or 14 members, that would be a non-brainer. But the number of seats in this game of musical chairs have dwindled down to very few, if any at all.

I agree that the Big Ten would be a better fit for MU, but it's not happening, and the SEC is our 2nd best option.
