but we've got a pretty rich history of semi-conservative, western libertarian supreme courts that have protected us from a lot of it.
It's amazing how much geography can impact the desirability of a place. I never really appreciated it in all my years in the desert.
I don't know if California is lucky because the super populated places are beautiful or close to beautiful stuff with decent weather and that protects them from the downfall of their policy, or if the geography allows for dumber government because the hurdle that needs to be reached to go somewhere that sucks in comparison is so high.
I'm semi-nervous about my car getting stolen/robbed or being assaulted by a fentanyl addict any time I'm in the city, but the view is perfect and it's 78 degrees and breezy. Makes it easier to ignore the little pin *****s of ****ty liberal fortress city politics.
