2. Contempt for democratic norms and institutions
3. Intense nationalism
4. Tendency to engage in political violence
5. Personality cult behind a strongman leader
6. Loyalty to the leader over the country

Trump and his followers meet all of those. The red hat is unique, although in some ways it mimics the white hood and the brown shirt.

So yeah, Joe Biden was right. Trump and his followers are at least semi-fascist, and may well be the real thing.
