The visit was too intimidate them into not running the story.

If the police visit your bank and tell them that someone is passing fake checks from your employer and you show up to cash your check the next day what do you think happens? They did not tell your bank to verify the check but I guarantee that they will.

Regardless of how big or small your business may be if the FBI pays you a visit you listen to what they have to say and they know it.

As has been finally acknowledged the disinformation before the 2020 election came from the FBI and media who falsely claimed that the laptop was fake.
