This spending bill is a serious of investments that will occur of the coming 10 yrs, not cash payments to citizens which had (coming out of the pandemic) stoked high demand for goods - in an economy with mftr and supply chain states not ready to meet that demand. That, in conjunction with corporations cashing in - drove inflation.

Spending bill is not cash in hand, but savings on healthcare over time an in investments in green energy, best they could do, but they did it.
