Liz Cheney lost an election, resoundingly, called her opponent to concede, and then went out and told her supporters, and the nation, that she had lost. What an unusual, but refreshing thing to do. Also the decent, honorable, and honest thing to do—all of which are reasons why Trump didn’t do it when he lost. As we all know he did. Hopefully Liz has started a new trend.
Alinea was, as usual, truly amazing last night. My third visit there, but first time to dine in the Gallery on the lower level. Always ate upstairs in the Salon before. Very different experience but just as remarkable. I highly recommend it to you all once you turn 21 and are old enough to drink.
