Crossfire Hurricane documents Trump had declassified, including evidence of the D.S./FBI/DOJ/Intel corruption. Some commentators speculate the FBI hoped to find incriminating materials related to the Jan. 6th protests and election fraud with the goal of preventing Trump from running in 2024. Those materials would be useful for propaganda purposes, but hardly disqualifying for Trump. The Constitution sets out the qualifications for President and VP and no law passed by Congress can alter those qualifications and that would include a clause disqualifying a candidate based on violations of the criminal code.
