Your hate of Russia clouds your ability to reason. It would be interesting to learn what is behind your blind spot. There has got to be something personal there. Maybe the Russians drove your ancestor off his farm in the Ukraine. Maybe your Grandma's Uncle was murdered in a pogrom in the Crimea.

In my case, I am not a bohunk or a slav of any type. I have no personal animus toward Eastern Europeans or Eurasians. Scotch/English/Irish with a splash of German, Dane and Swede. Two branches of my family tree have been in America for over 400 years and only two Great Grandpas were immigrants (from Austria and Ireland) during the mid-1800s. Every other branch in my tree has been in America for 250 to 300 years. I doubt there are many posting here have as solidly American roots as I. Are you some sort of Russia hating Slav?
