even referenced during the Hillary investigation, is that any decision they make to act upon a political person must be done in light of the appearance of political interference. Unless then charges or suspected crimes are of a significantly serious nature as to warrant the intrusion, the FBI should err on the side of not being seen as being political.

We shall see how serious this suspected issue was. And if the search was only for some already declassified documents the Trump team was already working on with the National Archives, Garland will be seen as little more than a political arm of the Biden administration
