Why would 'Trumpers' need to say he's innocent?

He is presumed innocent in the eyes of the law. He gets to be heard on the matter.
Did he himself knowingly move the documents there? Did he personally order their transfer there?
Did he knowingly retain documents in violation of the law?
Or was it something done without his personal involvement?
It is not the accused burden, nor the accused's supporters burden, to allege or prove innocence.
It is the prosecution's burden to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
