If we'd have done nothing, nothing would have been shut down, we still would have had a lot of covid, and things would've been tough for 2-3 months, 6 months maybe, and now generally we'd be on solid footing.
Instead, we shut everything down, spent money to try and make that more palatable/give favors to whoever we wanted to vote for us, and are now trying to recover from the manipulation.
