I came back to Mizzou from the Army in Jan 73 and the first guy at met at registration at Rothwell Gym had been in the process of being drafted too when I left in early 71. I had known him for years as we had friends in common. Anyway, I asked him where he ended up and he said---well, I'm gay and didn't get drafted. I was stunned but looking back he was a theater major so....
