AD’s first problem is having enough annual cash flow to cover the cost of a scholarship. Fewer scholarships to fund would help a school to get away from requiring donations for seats or at least allow for reductions. The money could then go to where it needs to flow which is to the player.

More likely schools do away with scholarship limits though. Which will further ensure only the richest of the rich succeed and TV gets the matchups they truly want to sell soap.
