Biden got the nod b/c he was able to remove Trump from power. Nation got dealt a tsunami of problems. Biden has in some cases done well and in others muddled through. But after Trump and Covid impact, of course that would happen.

Biden will likely not announce he is not running until the next year however. As we saw with Trump, power is hard to give up once you have had it.
