has made these presidents and chancellors and athletic departments completely drop any kind of pretense of regionalism or practicality when it comes to the benefit of student athletes.

Since everybody can get paid now any amount of money they can achieve the schools really don’t care and will continue to e more ruthless. If you miss five or six days of class because USC has to play Rutgers and Maryland and Penn State in basketball or baseball nobody cares.

They would take a school from Hong Kong into the Big Ten if it meant maximizing revenues because eventually any kind of broadcast revenues will be distributed and shared with all the players anyway in addition to NIL.
