Technically the Big XII in 2011/12 had 10 teams though, but I understand your point.

It's really just this baseball postseason and the move yesterday that made me contemplate this. After watching all the regionals, supers, and CWS and see the crowds and support that Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Texas have and it just seems a lot more manageable to be in a place where we can realistically compete.

And in football we have a stadium/facilities that are at worst middle of the pack compared to being closer to the bottom in the SEC.

I am generally optimistic but on this day which marks the 10 year anniversary of being in the SEC, it's just not been as fun as I would have hoped on 7/1/12. Especially after the conclusion of the 2014 football season.
