The PAC's leadership was/is dysfunctional

and they were snoozing through leadership changes. The PAC would have been a better fit for the UT/OU. The PAC should've been able to pull that off.
That being said, CU made the right move for CU. The PAC should've been poised for super conference status. I just heard an interview with their new commissioner a couple of weeks ago with the "we're good" (with their current number) and "you'd be shocked who we've heard from" response when asked about PAC's expansion plans.
