even I disagreed with vehemently on almost everything he stood for. RBG often said a lot of kind things about Scalia, and he also did about her, and they had one of the great friendships on the court even though they agreed on almost nothing in court.

Al Franken said he was very good friends with Jeff Sessions. I believe him.

I love my mom, even though she is a hard-core conservative. I talk to her a few times a week, even though we are about a 1000 miles apart on a lot of things (including just sheer distance from Maryland to Missouri)

I think painting a group of people with one brush is a big mistake, one I try to avoid but admittedly sometimes still do at times. To say that all hard-core progressives or all hard-core Tea Partiers don't want to talk to others don't share their views is just wrong-headed, although I fear we may be headed that direction.

Honestly, if I felt that way, I would just leave this board, quit posting, and would never post a good-bye. I feel like that would make the board a worse place. The same goes for pickle (even though he's a f*ckhead a lot of the time), ummmm, 4smugs, Tim, M, and some of the other conservatives. The board would be less without any of us. Face it, the board would just be a Trumpist sausage fest without us liberals, and no one should ever want that. So keep this board in perspective, and I will try and do the same.
