With statements that have nothing to do with the OP.
To Hokies OP we are now living 1984. We are told that actual violent acts are peaceful protests and words are violence. If the pendulum does not swing back soon this country will tear itself apart.
Ultimately conservatives share the blame in this. For the past forty years we have treated liberals like spoiled children. We have let them throw their temper tantrums and mostly looked away because it was more sad than harmful. When they started taking over higher education no one really cared because those institutes never really existed in the real world anyway. By the time we noticed that they had taken over the government bureaucracy it was too late. Now they have started taking over the corporate world as well. If we do not make a stand soon it will be too late, it may already be.
