Liz Cheney, of course. True, it probably costs her her seat in the House. But she knew that was inevitable when she took the courageous and righteous step of voting to impeach Trump. Too bad she comes from a state that is infected with poisonous love for America’s Worst President.
But on the national stage, she has conclusively proven, using testimony from Trump’s own supporters and family, that he is totally unfit for any public office, much less the highest office in the land. For that, the nation and all who love it will owe Liz Cheney their eternal gratitude.
As Trump’s base of support and sphere of influence gradually dwindles (albeit too slowly) the credit for his political death will be shared by many, most of all the Honorable Congresswoman from Wyoming.
