First and foremost, fans want to know they can TRUST this collective. The endorsements from Pinkel & Norm should help, but fans want to know where their money is going...
Buried in the FAQ at the bottom of the "about" page is information that should be prominently featured at the top of the main page:
Does 100% of my donation go to Mizzou athletes?...
Absolutely! We’re pleased to state that 100% of all fan contributions go directly to the athletes. Thanks to the generous gifts of private donations, all costs associated with administering the collective is covered separately, and won’t impact fan contributions.
Also, in the FAQ it says:
How do I know where my money is going?...
AMA will not be publicizing contract details, but the athletes and organizations they are partnering with certainly can choose to do so. Funds to AMA will go to support all athletes.
There needs to be *transparency* of the donations/deals or an *independent audit* to assure fans that 100% of their contributions are going to the players as claimed.
Lastly, the site is slow as sh*t, so you should probably get better web hosting... and at the bottom of the main page it says "made possible by [your logo here]...[your logo here]..." etc., which doesn't inspire confidence in the legitimacy of the collective. They look like placeholders from a Wordpress template that someone forgot to remove. If the goal is to solicit corporate sponsors, then that should be made clear so it looks more professional/less amateur.
I hope that helps, as I want to see this collective succeed. If you're involved with it then pass along my feedback, otherwise let me know and I'll email it to them.
