I think the real purpose of Elon's mission here is to openly show the United States government controlling twitter so that even the deepest normie/sleeper can see it.
Literally Biden's 'Ministry of Information' will shut-down twitter if it gets anywhere near free speech.
And guess what - the normie/sleepers, such as they are, will cheer that action and gleefully support the same action against any company that allows wrongthink to appear on their platforms.
Google, Facebook, Twitter et al have already lead the charge in the Internet version of book burning - and they are HUNGRY FOR MORE.
Conservatives are hoping Elon rights the ship - that won't be happening - you watch...
