It couldn't be more clear. They've dribbled out military aid to the Ukraine, often comprised of obsolete equipment from their 70s stockpiles. Poland donated tanks, but stripped them of electronics, including the siting components. The howitzers sent to the Ukraine by the U.S. were towed, not self-propelled units. Though useful against the sand peoples of the ME, they are considered obsolete against a modern Army. The economic sanctions the West believed would bury Russia have backfired spectacularly on us. We picked the wrong side and the timing couldn't be worse.
