She wouldn't deny that FBI agents were involved in criminal activity. Because why, sometimes FBI agents are involved in criminal activity and she didn't want to spill the beans?

And did you see her face during questioning? She was very uncomfortable and was clearly hiding… Lots of stuff. Which is about what we expect from a Biden appointee.
