Those folks who want that are also of a totalitarian bent. We’ve seen a fall in the belief of individual liberty, especially in younger folks.

They seem to think some Nirvana will someday exist under a more authoritarian way of life.

The thing they don’t get is authoritarianism never stops looking for new things to control and own for itself.
